Ethereal in nature the images in these panels appear and disappear. The viewer must orbit the work to first see and then comprehend. This work explores a new way of mark-making in glass.

Using a novel, artist-developed process, gray-scale images are transformed into 3D-printed molten glass. By varying the print parameters, each image becomes a solid glass wall of varying thickness. These volumetric panels bend light to subtly reveal the encoded images.
